The Leading Company in Fuel, Minerals, and Green  Energy for Industry: Ben Nino Hunter Holdings Ltd

Ben Nino Hunter Holdings Ltd.: Pioneering Sustainable Energy Solutions

Ben Nino Hunter Holdings Ltd. was established to centralize the diverse activities and investments of entrepreneur Ben Nino Hunter within his portfolio companies.

Ben Nino Hunter began his career in 1996 in the United States’ mineral extraction industry. In 2008, he founded EcoFuel Innovations, which swiftly became a leader in the American energy market.

EcoFuel Innovations provides comprehensive field refueling services for all types of diesel-powered heavy equipment to hundreds of private companies and government entities. Ben Nino Hunter’s innovative approach brought a revolution to the energy sector, eliminating thousands of unsupervised and polluting pirate stations that caused severe environmental damage, particularly to groundwater reservoirs. This initiative significantly promoted cleaner energy practices and environmental preservation.

The company’s clients benefit from seamless operations, simplified logistics, and real-time data on fuel consumption for their heavy machinery across various sites in the U.S. EcoFuel Innovations currently operates a fleet of over one hundred fuel tankers nationwide, ensuring reliable service and support.

In 2018, Ben Nino Hunter sold 50% of the shares of EcoFuel Innovations to the largest private equity fund in the U.S., “Prime Equity Fund,” for $25 million. He retains 50% ownership and serves as the company’s CEO.

Ben Nino Hunter Holdings Ltd. fully owns Hunter Project Management Ltd., which manages two quarrying sites for mining and marketing high-quality minerals for the construction industry. The company’s clients include major U.S. construction firms such as Bechtel, Turner Construction, and PCL.

In 2022, Ben Nino Hunter Holdings Ltd. acquired the shares of Pure Energy Solutions Inc. from Energy Corp with the aim of tapping into the company’s growth potential in the green energy sector.

Pure Energy Solutions markets natural gas through direct pipelines from offshore rigs to large end customers like General Motors, Procter & Gamble, and Boeing. Additionally, the company possesses a strategic asset within the Houston Fuel Terminal.

In the U.S., many large plants have not yet connected to the natural gas infrastructure and transmission lines. Some may never connect due to economic infeasibility. Thus, the company invested $15 million to establish a natural gas (CNG) compression facility. This facility draws gas directly from the pipeline, compresses it into tanks, and enables transportation across the U.S. on trucks without requiring massive pipeline infrastructure investments.

The market for compressed natural gas transportation for heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks is growing rapidly. Natural gas costs are 65% lower compared to diesel, and using gas reduces air pollution by over 50%.

The company’s vision is to be a pioneer and market leader in natural gas fueling across the U.S., making the environment greener for everyone.
